Omega Technical Services is seeking a highly motivated Principal Project Control Specialist to support ongoing operations in Aiken, SC.
Responsible for leading the organization, development, implementation, maintenance and accountability of total project controls, financial analysis or estimating applications designed to provide management with the total capability of maintaining planning, scheduling, financial analysis and cost control throughout the life cycle of a very complex or unique project or program. Responsible for performing highly complex Project Control activities and/or supervising the overall Project Controls effort for a project or assignment.
DUTIES:
Responsible for leading the organization, development, implementation, maintenance and accountability of total project controls, financial analysis or estimating applications designed to provide management with the total capability of maintaining planning, scheduling, financial analysis and cost control throughout the life cycle of a very complex or unique project or program. Responsible for performing highly complex Project Control activities and/or supervising the overall Project Controls effort for a project or assignment. Plans and executes the Project Controls requirements for a project including, but not limited to:
Handle all logistics between Ideagen and SRNS including personnel onboarding,
obtaining PIV cards/badges, ordering computer equipment, granting system access, etc.
Ensure that computer account access is maintained for Ideagen personnel.
Maintain schedule to keep track of project progress and resources (Ideagen and all site tenants).
Coordinate periodic in-person meetings between Ideagen and SRS team members, arrange for dates and location, etc.
Coordinate project resources (Ideagen and all site tenants) in the planning and performance of module testing (Configuration, UAT, etc.).
Assist in the testing and training development of configured modules.
Participate in the configuration review testing of the modules.
Coordinate discussion to resolve project board items.
Assist in communication and general statuses between EPS (classified / non- classified sides) and STAR.
Participate in EPS status meetings for classified side and non-classified side.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee implementation of all testing activities prior to go-live
phase for STAR replacement. Testing to include, module, comprehensive, and acceptance testing, coordinate fixes with Ideagen Application Engineers, and ensure retesting verifies successful fixes to the issues identified.
Possesses strong personal computer skills.
Requires expert proficiency in the use of automated accounting, cost management, scheduling and estimating systems as tools for performing required duties.
Possesses considerable practical experience in the use of the Site Business systems.
Require working knowledge of Ideagen/DevonWay iCAS EPS and Issues Management and related modules.
BS Engineering or Business Administration, preferred.
Review/Approve; Level I and Level II Purchase Requisitions.
