Omega Technical Services is seeking a highly motivated Senior Training Specialist to support ongoing operations in Aiken, SC. This position plays a vital role in advancing critical mission objectives within a highly regulated and technically demanding environment.

DUTIES:
BS/BA Degree
Two+ years’ Training and/or Education experience.
Instructional Analyst Level 1 must possess the depth and breadth of knowledge and skills of an Instructor/Developer , in addition to significant knowledge of Site processes, policies, andprocedures; and significant familiarity with Federal laws, DOE Orders, Manual 4B and Training Administrative Guides.
Must be able to develop measurably effective training materials from information provided by subject matter experts (SMEs), and/or in procedures, technical documents, etc.
Substantial experience with the systematic approach to training processes is required to provide guidance and evaluate instructional staff and instructional materials for compliance, adequacy, completeness, accuracy, and effectiveness.
10+ years specialized experience as a qualified/certified Rigger or Mobile Crane
operator.
Substantial expertise and working knowledge of rigging and crane operations,
standards, and practices is highly preferred.
Knowledgeable of the SRS’s Learning Management System (LMS).
Familiar in the content of lessons, generalizations of concepts, and applications to
rigging/crane equipment operation(s).
Highly efficient organizational skills.
Knowledge in the content of assigned lessons and general concepts sufficient to
pinpoint causes of deficiencies in achievement.
Familiarity with task-to-training analysis.
Proficient in curriculum development.
Familiarity with applicable Federal Laws, DOE Orders, and SRS policies concerning
Training and Rigging/Crane equipment operations.
Demonstrate exemplary performance to tasks in the discipline and evaluate student
performance of those tasks.
Currently or able to qualify as an instructor in accordance with the SRS 4B Manual.
Minimum ten (10) years’ experience as a qualified/certified Rigger or Mobile Crane
Operator.
Working knowledge of TM90-7 The Site Hoisting and Rigging Manual
